In our church we are planning to provide transportation for children to and from the clubs. We want to make an effort to invite the parents to every service, but especially the once-a-month song/choir time in "Big Church."

My question is this: Since many of these boys and girls have proven themselves to be completely irresponsible when it comes to taking care of their materials (i.e curriculum), is there any other options than giving them a $15 Truthbook?

How can we be wise stewards of the funds God has given our local church? Any suggestions here?

Here are a couple of suggestions:

#1. Purchase the downloadable version of the curriculum (in PDF format) and allow the boys and girls to bring home the copies of the sheets they are working on. If they continue to progress in the program for a month or two, reward them with the actual Truthbook. You can see these downloadable files here: http://store.kids4truth.com/SearchResult.aspx?CategoryID=2 (NOTE: Having these PDF curriculum files on your computer is a great idea as there may be times when children forget to bring their Truthbooks to a club night. You can look up and see where the child is at on their progress chart [see "Resources" section for this free file] and give them a copy of the curriculum as it appears in their Truthbook.)
