A Quiz Night for Developers, Detectives, and Defenders!
A special event during the year when the night focuses on an oral and a written quiz for each of the 3 levels, where the questions are the same (using the Parallels document), but the answers come from each level's Truthbook answers. Oral ?'s could be asked using a projector and multiple choice answers. Children have a limited time to decide which answer is correct and then all hold up their answer at once (A, B, C, or D). Judges record scores. Written quizzes are given out on a timed basis. Parents are encouraged to help their children prepare and then come and cheer them on. Refreshments could be served. The Discoverers will follow their normal schedule, but join in for a closing time of awards. Awards are given at the end. A study guide could be made and distributed a few weeks before the quiz night. A challenge to deal with is if more than one translation of the Bible is used by your club's children.
Questions:
1. Does anyone have suggestions on how to do this better?
2. We are a GARBC church in central Iowa. Are there similar churches in our area who would be interested in working together on a quiz made up of K4T children from multiple churches?
Below is our schedule for our first quiz night.
